Hi! Welcome to my webpage.
My name is Ramakrishna Sai Annaluru but you can just call me by my middle name, Sai. I am an only child of two wonderful parents who are almost entirely the reason I am where I am today. I was born in a city in Andhra Pradesh, India known as Nellore and after my family and I emigrated to the United States, I spent most of my formative years growing up in San Antonio, Texas.
I was previously working as a software engineer at Cummings Aerospace. Before that, I was working on my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin under Professor Christine Julien. My research topic was on combining machine learning and artificial intelligence with physical activity for the purpose of elementary school education, particularly targeting historically underrepresented populations. Before this, I completed my Masters under Professor Robert Heath Jr. where I worked on machine learning applications for radar signal processing and sensor fusion.
In addition to my work, I also have several different hobbies that I enjoy partaking in. I like to play basketball, play ping pong, ride my bike, and lift weights. I am also a passionate Indian classical musician, focusing most of my efforts on playing tabla.
I'm currently a bit lost in life... don't really have much direction. I have some experience... not sure what's next.
